Christmas last year:
Siesta Key, white quartz sand, azure sky, aquamarine Gulf of Mexico, squinting in the sun, sleeveless!
Christmas this year:
Grey, cold, damp, five layers of clothes, tired. What’s not to love about England?
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and the very best for the New Year, wherever you are!
Haha… well, despite the changes… hope you had a merry one!

I experienced many changes this past year and a half… and after I read Womanseyeview Blog today. I realize that I have found “My Peace On Earth!”
Oh, and I went and found more CHEESE! HA HA HA

“Peace on Earth” sounds good. Not sure about the cheese. Will read your recommendation and let you know. 😉

I have to admit that the sun would win out with me. However, I think it is wonderful that you have family around for the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🙂

Thanks LuAnn. Round one of overexcited children is done. And that’s just himself and me! Bring on Christmas! Hope you have a lovely one.

I know what you mean about the grey and the damp, but to be honest Christmas in the sun just doesn’t work for me. At all. Christmas lights and mulled wine and fir trees look their best in the cold, dark days. Hope you have a great time with the family and happy house-hunting in 2015 😉

I’m actually enjoying this weather at this time of year. We’ll see how long into 2015 that lasts. But the snowdrops will be up soon. Then the crocuses and daffs and then it will be spring!

I guess you mean me and the tree. Not tired Santa. Himself and I posed in front of the Christmas tree with the intention of using it for a Christmas card this year. Didn’t get round to it. Maybe next year!

Maybe a visit to a tanning salon to bring back memories of last year? 🙂

I’ve always said in this country, “I don’t mind the cold outdoors. It’s the cold indoors that I don’t care for.” Central heating has come on a bit since I first arrived here. Merry Christmas BD and a very happy and healthy new year to you and yours.
