Ringing the Changes

Christmas last year:

Siesta Key, Florida

Siesta Key, white quartz sand, azure sky, aquamarine Gulf of Mexico, squinting in the sun, sleeveless!

Christmas this year:

Santa Run, Ipswich, Suffolk, England

Grey, cold, damp, five layers of clothes, tired. What’s not to love about England?

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and the very best for the New Year, wherever you are!

      1. I experienced many changes this past year and a half… and after I read Womanseyeview Blog today. I realize that I have found “My Peace On Earth!”
Oh, and I went and found more CHEESE! HA HA HA

  1. I have to admit that the sun would win out with me. However, I think it is wonderful that you have family around for the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and yours. πŸ™‚

  2. I know what you mean about the grey and the damp, but to be honest Christmas in the sun just doesn’t work for me. At all. Christmas lights and mulled wine and fir trees look their best in the cold, dark days. Hope you have a great time with the family and happy house-hunting in 2015 πŸ˜‰

    1. I’m actually enjoying this weather at this time of year. We’ll see how long into 2015 that lasts. But the snowdrops will be up soon. Then the crocuses and daffs and then it will be spring!

  3. Oh dear… it is the time to be jolly, trallalah la de dum dum do…. full of wine and under holly..trallalah trallalah lah lah lah… take a bottle and stay warm, and dream of Christmas past…. but be merry … have a very Merry Christmas to you and the family and may 2015 be a tad warmer

    1. I’ve always said in this country, “I don’t mind the cold outdoors. It’s the cold indoors that I don’t care for.” Central heating has come on a bit since I first arrived here. Merry Christmas BD and a very happy and healthy new year to you and yours.

    1. Up at 6 am today. Too excited to sleep. Did I mean excited? I think I meant fretting about things to do! So here I am on WP. Hey ho. Cookies can wait. Happy holidays and happy new year with naps to you!
