For those of you who liked the pastel cottages on the Outer Banks NC in Summer Lovin’ here is the English version:
Seaside living bijou style!
Yes you can actually sunbathe in England.
The picturesque view is Felixstowe docks.
The bathing beauty kindly gave her permission to be photographed.
Where is the sand??? 🙂 Love the pastels!

Not much sand on this part of the east coast. We have to import it!

Oh, my! Gorgeous! Bonny Prince Charlie had californian pastel color dreams for Cornwall a while back – no idea if he went ahead with it. Pity about the huge coat hangers on the horizon, though – kind of breaks the dream…

Sorry to say I prefer the ones in Outer Banks. I squint trying to figure out if its you enjoying the sun on the seaside!

Haha, I’ve never thought of sunbathing in England, either! Cute little cottages — the whimsical paint colors would also be at home in Key West!

They would look good in Key West! And our weather is so similar. Not. Still, I haven’t worn my fleece yet.

We went to the seaside this morning. Sat in the sun and watched storms at sea. Dramatic!

We’re venturing back to the seaside town of Felixstowe today with guests. It’s raining. Let’s see how much we all like it today!

Nothing like a seaside view to feel the stress drain away. Ahhh – I think I’ll just sit here a little while longer enjoying the ocean breeze.

Not sure you’d enjoy the North Sea breeze so much but it has been unseasonably warm and lovely!

I’ll probably make it to the Outerbanks before I make it here.

Good choice. Warmer there. In summer that is. Put this comment on my phone and sent it out into the ether. Not impressed with the WP app, or my phone, or the signal or the phone operator. Who knows?

The app has been spotty for me lately too, Carol.

Gorgeous pastel colours. Carol. It;s over a 50 years since I was in Felixtowe, and all I can remember about it, is that the beach was all pebbles, with not much sand. 🙂

You have to come back! They’ve imported sand! Truly!

But you have much nicer beach huts and views in Southwold – can’t say Felixstowe Docks do much for me!

Near there. Just outside of Ipswich. Felixstowe is a lovely old seaside town. Bit naff in places but picturesque when the sun shines.🌞
