I used to work at a kids’ theme park and they had signs in places where staff could see them but customers couldn’t that read ‘smile. grockles are funny’ (grockles are what devon locals call tourists)
Hahaha! Like emmets in Cornwall? I did some work for a local college at Pleasurewood Hills near Lowestoft. I guess you need a certain mindset to see the humour!
Is that sign for the hotel, or is that the service you supply your husband.??? lol… Love the sign their management can’t get too many complaints …”But Sir, we advertise bad service.”
Love your smile…
Thanks! BTW when did you take your photos of the tulips in WA – beginning middle or end of April? http://egghillphotos.com/2013/05/07/skagit-valley-tulip-festival/
That was a brilliant post. Thinking of going.
I never knew that hump day thing. Been out of work too long. Or I’m too foreign.
Love the TOP of the sign above your head. 🙂

We thought it was pretty funny, but more typical of an English pub! Thanks for stopping by. 😀

I always grin when someone points a camera at me. It lifts those pesky little saggy bits to just above my jawline! Like this: 😀

That sign behind you is simply the way Nevadan’s, like me, manage expectations!

On signs like this in England the last line reads, “Grumpy Landlord.” It’s usually true. What is Hump Day? have I asked you that before?
