ha ha! they’ve been doing some building work at victoria and when you arrive at platform 19 then the middle of the walkway is totally boarded over. There are diversion signs pointing around the MASSIVE boarded over bit… I worry about who they thought was going to try and walk straight through the wall??!?
I remember signs like that on the beach when we lived in St Augustine. I remember being suspicious of local authorities deliberately making people drive slow so they’d get sanded in. We also had signs saying “pedestians” and “vehicles”, which was strange to see on a beach, but lots of people drove on the beach.

On the streets, in your car…why not on the beach too. There’s no containing those rude devils.

Ha! – must have Lifeguards that drive the beach in vehicles or ATVs.

Don’t want those speed demons running me down when I’m sunbathing. They need to slow down enough for me to get a good look at them!

That sign was meant for you to slow down as you see that cute sparkly purse in the distance at nearby beach front gift shop 😆

Hadn’t thought of that. The local council’s joke on the tourists. Let them all get bogged down in the sand.
