I speak from experience when I say that squirrels are definitely little thieves not to be trusted. If you leave a pie outside to cool, you run the risk of a squirrel eating the entire crust rim. Husband was NOT impressed. Who knew that squirrels like pie?

We got through a lot of bird seed there – an Army base campsite in Washington State – but we had the best time watching all the wildlife!
